Sewing

Most of the time when I’m sewing something, as in this case a pillow, it’ll start with a simple pattern or piece that’ll become a part of something larger.  So the first photo was the top piece to a pillow that I made for one of my siblings years ago on their birthday.

Websites

Each of these logos represent either a business or brand that I have an interest in.  Additionally, each one represent a website that I was directly or indirectly, or completely or partially responsible for creating.  I’ve listed them all here because as time goes by, I’ll be focusing on one of them in this space.  Njoy!!!!!!!

Structures

This lightbox was my very first box created, in my life.  My neighbors had no idea what I was doing when I got started.  Pretty much everyday during its construction one of them would come or drive by and ask me what in tarnation was I building. Now of course, I wouldn’t tell them.  I’d just say…….Stay Tuned. (lol).

Needless to say, when it was completed, I got about three request to do the same for them, which of course, is the ultimate compliment.

Service

As you can see, I was appointed to one of the City’s redevelopment boards, namely Midtown, back in December 2019.  My first meeting was the following month, January 2020.  To say that it was a rocky ‘marriage’ in the beginning would be THE understatement of the century. So my first meeting was January, by that September, I was elected Chairman, go figure!

One of the first things I told my fellow board members after they elected me was literally….”Be careful wutcha wish for, cause you may get it.”  Let’s just say…..”Life for me (my tenure as Chairman) ain’t been no crystal stair. It’s had tacks in it.”  But I’ve found that the store that sold my enemies those tacks don’t discriminate, they sold me some too!!!!!!! (lol).

In case you didn’t know, this is my signature.

The first person that I heard say the phrase, “Who signs the front of the check?” was the actor Charlie Sheen, and this was during the time it was revealed that he was an alcoholic and drug addict.  It was also when he was at the height of his career as the lead actor in the t.v. series ‘Two and A Half Men‘.

What he was saying was that unless you sign the front of the check, i.e., you’re the BOSS, you’re gonna be limited to what you can say, when you can say it, and how you can say it.  Believe me, he was saying a lot of cray-cray shuggady………..and getting away with it no less.

All I knew was that I wanted some of that.  Yah Boy ain’t looked back since! (lol)
